Japanese police last week providing education about preparing to face an earthquake to the Indonesian citizens who are living in Hamamatsu. This is a form of concern from the Japan government to Indonesia which recently hit by an earthquake.
Here are some guidelines if an earthquake shook suddenly.
When the earthquake occurred, starting with maintaining your own safety. Go to the bottom of the table to protect your body from dropping objects. If you do not have a table, cover your head with your hands or a pillow.
Once the shock subsided, immediately looked around the fire resources. If you're lighting the stove, then turn off immediately to prevent fires. If there is a fire immediately to extinguish.
Do not hurry to get out of the room.
Do not approach the fence, a tall building or the narrow hallway.
Beware of the coming flood of water, tsunami's, mountain cliffs or avalanche. There is the possibility of landslides occurred on the mountain. Get away to safety immediately. On the coast, the danger comes from the tsunami. If you feel the vibrations and signs of a tsunami, quick to flee to higher ground.
Evacuate on foot and a little luggage.
Joined together to help other victims. It was predictable that many people will be injured during a major earthquake. Because of health workers from hospitals will have difficulty coming to the scene, so be prepared to give first aid to the people around you.
Get the right information, do not get lost by the false rumors. When a large earthquake occurs, the community mental shock. To prevent panic, it is important everyone be calm and act in accordance with the correct information. You can get the correct information from the authorities or the police. Do not act based on the information people who are not clear.

Bagi mereka yang telah memperoleh pengalaman berharga tersebut, sudah sepatutnya untuk menularkan ilmu istimewa tersebut sehingga turut membantu gerakan bersama untuk sadar dan siap-siaga dalam mengahadi segala kemungkinan terjadinya bencana yang tak terhindarkan tersebut.

After the earthquake, If there is a fire, stay low to the ground, touch doors before you open them (so you can see if they are hot and there is a fire behind them). Also, use a T-shirt or cloth to breath through (put it up to your nose and mouth and breath through the cloth...it should be permeable enough) to help you get out of a smoky environment. Make sure you don't try to use elevators as you do NOT want to get stuck in them and you won't know how reliable they are.
