Actualy I'm not the expert about writing this topic since my background only a labor in a factory. But because of the pressure from some blogger friends who was surprised to see traffic alexa rank of my blog increased rapidly whereas the age of blogs less than a month.
In my opinion, improving blog rankings is the same analogy as if we're selling goods. In order to people buy the goods we sell we must promote it. As well as the blog that we created, in order to people come to visit our blog requires promotion.
No need to linger longer. I will point out the 8 habits to increase blog ranking based on my experience in improving blog rank on alexa site.
Use a unique domain name, so easily remembered by visitors. Then register your blog on search engines site. This strategy often improved blog ranking.
Create an original article, do not copy and paste from another blog. You can write anything about information that is useful for visitors.
Publish the article regularly and periodically. Better to publish 1 post every day instead publish 7 posts a day but once a week.
Articles that have been in publishing, also register at blog directory, social networking site or forum, like digg.com, facebook etc..
Try to create a templates blog as simple as possible, but still makes visitors feel at home and enjoyed reading your article. Not to load too long because it will annoy visitors and eventually canceled his/her intention to visit our blog.
Doing blogwalking. Frequently visited the neighbor's blog, this is very tedious for some people because they thought it a waste of time.
Do not just blogwalking, follow their blog and do not forget to leave a comment on the guestbook or articles they have made so we leave footprints and they will visit our blog. Amazingly not only them, the others will visit too.
Last but not least, there are more effective ways by exchange links with other blogger. In this way we do not need to remember the name of their blog but this way is preferred by the search engines.
